Adverse Event Reporting

The Biosimilars Forum is an independent, nonprofit organization that seeks to advance biosimilars in the United States with the intent of expanding access and availability of biological medicines, and improving health care. To make a report you can contact the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) directly. The FDA has established an adverse event reporting service known as Medwatch where consumers and health care professionals can report serious problems they suspect that may be associated with the drugs and medical devices they prescribe, dispense, or use. Please Visit Medwatch at http://www.fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch/. For drugs, please contact 888-463-6332, for biologics, please contact 800-835-4709 or via email at ocod@fda.hhs.gov.

Outside the United States

Countries worldwide may have specific processes in place to handle reports of adverse events. To report an adverse event, ask your health care provider for more information or contact your local health authority.
