Biosimilars Forum Statement Regarding Confirmation of Dr. Scott Gottlieb as Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration
WASHINGTON, DC, May 10, 2017 – The Biosimilars Forum—the nonprofit organization solely dedicated to expanding patient access to biosimilars in the United States—today issued the following statement regarding the confirmation of Dr. Scott Gottlieb as Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, (FDA).
“The Biosimilars Forum congratulates Dr. Scott Gottlieb on his confirmation as the next Commissioner of the FDA. We look forward to working with him to advance policies that will bring safe and effective new biosimilars to patients promptly so that that these potentially life-saving drugs get into the hands of those patients who need them most.”
